An exciting challenge for young internationals who are eager to have an international learning experience!
We have developed a unique, multidisciplinary 3-week Summer Course in which you will work on a real-life project to discover how Commerce and Industry can meet the challenge of sustainability.
The project
The project will challenge you to develop a new consumer product while taking into account the environment. You will learn about product development, marketing and finance, but also about biotechnology and environmental science. On top of that you will learn about project planning and multicultural teamwork. This approach gives you an opportunity to find out which field of study suits you best.
Study buddy
Furthermore we will arrange study buddies to help you to adjust to life in the Netherlands. They will do their utmost to make this Summer Course an unforgettable experience!
What will I get out of it?
On completing the Course you will not only have gained 3 European Credits, but also a better idea of your study preferences, experience of the Avans Project-Based Learning education model and, last but not least: you will have made a lot of new international friends.

Breda is located in the south of the Netherlands, close to the Belgian border. During the Summer Course several trips are planned to enable you to discover the Netherlands, including Amsterdam and the medieval walled city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
