Avans once again the best in the Netherlands
Avans University of Applied Sciences has been proclaimed the best major university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. Every year, the Dutch Centre for Higher Education Information examines the quality of higher education in the Full-time Higher Professional Education Options Guide 2012. Network of International Business Schools
A delegation from the Network of International Business Schools recently visited the Avans School of International Studies (ASIS) to investigate whether ASIS can be accredited as an international business school according to the NIBS criteria.
On the 19th of May 2011, during the annual NIBS conference, the school received an official certificate of this accreditation.
The auditors wrote a report on their findings. This report states that the results of the self-assessment produced a score of 76, a score that comfortably exceeds the 50% minimum pass mark and lies close to the maximum that in the panel’s view is realistically attainable.
The panel felt that the School has achieved a very high level of internationalisation in every area of its activities, underpinned by seemingly universal support by staff and students for its international goals and vision.
