If you have decided to pursue a study programme at Avans University of Applied Sciences, obviously you will need to register for it.
Student groups
There are various application procedures. Which one you will need to follow depends on which student group you belong to. We distinguish between eight groups:
1. Erasmus students
2. Exchange students (non-EEA)
3. Prep course students
4. Minor students
5. Master's students
6. Bachelor's students
7. Bachelor's students (double degree contracts with other universities)
8. Dutch students

Rules and Regulations
Before you apply for a study programme at Avans University of Applied Sciences, make sure you have informed yourself about the Rules and Regulations.
Deadlines
All exchange and Erasmus-students must enrol:
- before 1 October 2011 if starting in February 2012*
- before 1 May 2012 if starting in September 2012
We advise students from non-EU countries to enrol early to allow enough time to apply for a visa:
- before 1 November 2011 if starting in February 2012*
- before 1 June 2012 if starting in September 2012
We advise students from EU countries to register:
- before 1 January 2012 if starting in February 2012*
- before 1 August 2012 if starting in September 2012
* Please note: only a few study programmes start in February, please carefully check the study programme of your choice.
