For international students who will be starting their study programme end of August 2012, Avans arranges a short introduction programme in the week of August 20th, before your studies start.
This orientation programme is compulsory.
Programme
During this introduction at Avans
- we will arrange formalities (like registration as a citizen of your new home city);
- you will sign your rent contract with the Housing Corporation (if you have 'guaranteed housing');
- you will be given a tour around the campus and around your new home city.

Important: bring your birth certificate
When you come to the Netherlands you must bring your original birth certificate (authenticated or with apostil) with you to Avans University of Applied Sciences
